Pearl CARE

Pearls are the world’s only organic gemstone, called organic because they are created by living creatures and therefore, tend to be quite delicate.

Proper care of your pearl jewelry is essential to ensure your investment will last a lifetime.

Caring for your precious pearls is easy.

Here are a few essential tips to ensure proper care for your pearl jewelry :

  • Since cultured pearls are organic and porous gems, they are partly composed of water. Keep them away from excessive heat or intense lighting.
  • While the natural oils of your skin only enhance the luster of pearls, cosmetics should never be applied directly onto them. This includes such items as skin creams, hair spray, perfume and similar products. Contact with these items may damage the nacre or cause discoloration over the time.
  • You should only put your pearls on after such cosmetics have been applied respecting the old adage “pearls should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off”.
  • After you wear pearls, just wipe them off with a soft cloth, which may be dry or damp. You can even use a drop of olive oil on the cloth to help maintain their luster.

Do not store pearls in plastic. Pearls, as every organic material, need to breath !

Leather CARE

All my designs are conceived to last.
The leather I exclusively use for my creations is simply the best existing quality.

In addition, this finest quality leather is carefully and patiently hand-worked on the island to obtain this super resistant, lightweight and amazingly supple material, which is as unique and precious as the treasures I will knot with it.

Like any leather product, it must be cared for in order to maintain its beautiful appearance and durability.
