This necklace brings together two kinds of ocean treasure genuine Victorian sea glass from the shores of Seaham, England, and cultured Tahitian super silver pearls knotted side by side on premium kangaroo leather. Every element was shaped by the sea. Nothing here was rushed.
The sea glass in this necklace is authentic. Not carved. Not treated. Each piece was once part of a bottle or glasswork produced in the Victorian-era factories of Seaham, on the northeast coast of England. Discarded into the North Sea over a century ago, these glass fragments have been tumbled by waves, ground by sand, and frosted by salt until the ocean returned them to shore as something entirely new smooth, matte, luminous, and impossible to replicate.
The Tahitian super silver pearls are among the most striking pearls in the world high-luster, metallic, with an almost mirror-like sheen that shifts between silver, steel, and pale green depending on the light. Knotted alongside the soft, frosted sea glass, the contrast is magnetic: raw and polished, ancient and living, earth and ocean.
The necklace is fully adaptable a single pearl slides along the leather cords at the back, letting you adjust the length from choker to long pendant in seconds. No clasp. No hardware. Just leather, pearl, and a movement.
