Australian golden pearls are the most coveted saltwater pearls in the world. Their color is not dyed, not treated, not enhanced in any way it is entirely natural, produced by the gold-lipped oyster in the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific. Fine golden specimens at this size and grade are uncommon, even among specialists. This bracelet carries three of them.
At 11 to 12mm, grade AA, oval, these three focal pearls were hand-selected for the depth and warmth of their golden overtone. Side by side on the wrist, they catch light the way only high-grade Australian pearls can deep, saturated, alive. This is not the pale shimmer of a freshwater pearl. This is gold born inside a shell.
The pearls are mounted on three separate strands of premium kangaroo leather, each hand-cut, rolled, and conditioned in our St. Barth workshop. The three strands are joined by hand-tied knots on each side of the pearl composition creating a structure that is at once minimal and architectural. The leather is thicker than standard cord, built for the weight and value of what it carries. It will soften within days, shape itself to your wrist, and develop a warm patina over time.
A fourth Australian golden pearl, 9mm, serves as the clasp so the piece reads as pure pearl and leather from every angle. No metal hardware. No mechanism. Just pearl threaded through a leather loop.
