Tahitian Pearl & 18K Gold Bracelet
Gold that looks like it was found, not made. Pearls that look like they were born, not farmed. Both on the same bracelet.
This bracelet alternates six cultured Tahitian pearls with ten solid 18K gold beads all knotted on triple-strand premium kangaroo leather with traditional sailors knots. Every element is separated by leather, every element catches its own light, and the conversation between the raw gold and the iridescent pearls is what makes this piece impossible to ignore.
The gold beads are carved in wax, cast in solid 18K gold, and finished deliberately raw in our St. Barth workshop. Each one carries irregular facets, traces of the file, marks of the rasp. The surface is not polished smooth it is left textured, sculptural, and intentionally imperfect. No two beads are alike. The metal bears the marks of the hand that shaped it.
The Tahitian pearls are selected for their luster and their size five large pearls between 10 and 11mm, plus a sixth pearl at 9mm serving as clasp. They sit between the gold beads like moons between stars cool and luminous against the warm, matte gold.
The triple-strand kangaroo leather is hand-rolled and knotted tight between each element. The leather is supple from the first wear and will develop a deep, personal patina over time softening, darkening, and becoming entirely yours.
The bracelet closes with a pearl threaded through a leather loop no metal clasp, no hardware. Just the same three materials, beginning to end: pearl, gold, leather.
