Leather blue heart necklace embellished with three 18K gold beads knotted on leather from St Barth island.

This Superb leather blue heart necklace from St Barth blue heart have been cut in the mass, sculpted then polished by hand for hours in my workshop. A real gift from the sea to carry around like a treasure. I compliment the pendant with 3 heavy and generous 18K gold beads.

Each Glass Heart is shaped by hand from a block used by Glass Masters.

Crystal glass has been used for centuries by glassblowers. The “crystal” is a type of glass with a concentration of metal oxides (in particular lead oxide PbO), up to 40% more in mass which makes it more brilliant and deep (Its brilliance is increased by increments of its refractive index) it is also denser and brighter and catches the light beautifully as you can see in the photos

The length of the necklace has been shortened for the needs of the photo on the model: the heart falls lower than on the photo, about a third from the sternum to the navel.
