Tahitian Pearl Long Necklace on Leather
Sixty pearls. No clasp. Nothing between you and the South Pacific.
This is the most ambitious necklace in the Trésors de St Barth collection sixty cultured Tahitian pearls, each one between 12 and 12.5mm, round, strung on premium kangaroo leather with knots. No clasp mechanism. No metal hardware. The necklace is continuous a single, unbroken line of pearl and leather that falls long as a sautoir or doubles around the neck for a layered, closer fit.
Sixty round Tahitian pearls at this size is not a simple order to fill. Each pearl must be selected individually for shape, luster, and color consistency. At 12 to 12.5mm, round, these are among the largest and most desirable specimens the Tahitian oyster produces. Grade B/C+ selected not for laboratory perfection but for the depth of their natural color and the strength of their luster against skin and light.
Available in two color palettes: black deep, dramatic, with overtones that shift between green, aubergine, and steel — or silver gray, cooler and more luminous, with the quiet glow that only natural Tahitian silver carries. Choose your color at checkout.
The knots between each pearl are tied to be invisible, giving the necklace a clean, linear silhouette no interruption, no distraction, just pearl after pearl after pearl. The kangaroo leather is hand-worked for maximum suppleness and resistance. It will soften further with every wear, conforming to your body and developing a patina that is yours alone.
Worn long, it falls past the chest sixty pearls catching light along the way. Doubled, it becomes something closer to a collar — dense, substantial, impossible to overlook. Two necklaces in one, depending on the moment.
At $9,000, this is the signature piece of the collection. It is built from sixty individual pearls selected from the South Pacific, strung on leather worked by hand, and finished without a single piece of metal. Nothing about it is mass-produced. Nothing about it could be.
Given the scale and value of this necklace, please allow seven to ten days for completion. Shipping is complimentary via secure tracked delivery.
