Tahitian Pearl Cluster Necklace on Leather
This is the most dramatic piece in the Trésors de St Barth collection and the most organic. Thirteen genuine cultured Tahitian pearls, ranging from 10 to 12.5mm, half baroque and drop shapes, each one hand selected for its depth of color and its luster. They cascade from a hand knotted braid of premium kangaroo leather, fanning out in a cluster that catches light from every direction, moves with every breath, and never sits the same way twice.
Available in two palettes. Choose at checkout.
The dark version carries thirteen Tahitian black pearls, deep charcoal and green black with overtones that shift between peacock, aubergine, and steel. Dense, dramatic, and commanding. The multicolor version mixes Tahitian and Australian pearls, silver, gold, dark, and cream in a single cluster, every pearl a different shade, every shade drawn from a different ocean. Same construction, same cascade, entirely different mood.
The cluster is built one pearl at a time. Each pearl hangs from its own strand of leather, knotted individually and gathered at the top into a tight braid. The construction is raw and refined at once. Sophisticated in its engineering, wild in its presence on the chest.
A thirteenth pearl serves as clasp, the necklace is fully adaptable and can transforms from a long sautoir to a crew length statement piece. Worn long, the cluster falls at mid chest, swinging gently. Shortened, the pearls gather to one side of the neck, dense and close. One piece, multiple ways to wear it.
The kangaroo leather is hand rolled and conditioned for maximum suppleness. It will soften and deepen with every wear, developing a patina that grounds the luster of the pearls in something warm and organic.
At $930, this necklace carries thirteen cultured pearls from the South Pacific, each one knotted by hand onto its own strand of leather. The math alone tells you the value. The way it moves on your body tells you the rest.
Made to order.
