18K Gold Drop Earrings on Leather

Each drop is hand sculpted in wax and cast in 18K solid gold in our workshop. The shape is organic, teardrop, tapering to a point that catches light from every angle. The gold is polished to a warm, bright finish that deepens against skin and hair and sunlight. They carry the weight of solid 18K gold, and that weight is what gives them their movement, their swing, their quiet pull toward the earth.
The drops hang from 18K gold hooks, each one fitted with a silicone security stopper so the earrings stay exactly where they belong. Between the hook and the drop, a short length of premium kangaroo leather is tied with traditional sailor knots. The leather adds an element no metal chain could, a softness, an organic texture, a reminder that these earrings were made by hand rather than stamped from a mold.
